Ingredients:
- 10 eggs
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (or more, to taste)
- 5 star anise
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- handful of tea leaves (or more, to taste)
- pinch of sugar
- pinch of salt
Directions:
- Cover eggs with cold water. Place on stove at high heat until boil, reduce heat and cover with lid. Simmer for 15 min.
- Rinse eggs with cold water until cool enough to hold. Drain.
- Cover eggs with water (about 3-4 cups) and add everything else in.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat, simmer with lid on for 1.5-2 hrs. (I guess this depends on how patient you are)
- Drain, chill (optional), peel, and eat.
